About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Insurance Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to build a career within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our insurance team, ensuring the smooth processing of policies, client documentation, and day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue insurance documentation, certificates, and policy schedules.
- Deal with daily incoming and outgoing post and process accordingly.
- Input and maintain accurate client information on the broker management system.
- Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations, policy terms, and underwriting information.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from clients and insurers in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist Account Executives with policy administration and client servicing.
- Process premium payments, refunds, and finance documentation where applicable.
- Ensure all work complies with Central Bank of Ireland regulations and company procedures.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with clients and insurers.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve routine client queries.
- Assist with general office administration and support the wider insurance team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within an insurance brokerage or insurance company (preferred).
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using broker management systems such as Relay, Applied, OpenGI, or similar is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritise workload, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines.
- A professional and positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.

- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets and correspondence as required.
- Process documentation accurately and maintain up-to-date electronic and paper records.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with customers and third parties where necessary.
- Assist with diary management and team administration.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve routine queries efficiently.
- Assist with general office administration and support the wider business as required.
About You

- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, commercial support, or office-based role preferred but not essential.
